Crayon Club Meetup: Wall Street

May 09, 2026 from 2:30–5:00 PM

Recess Grove at 327 Grand St, Brooklyn, NY 11211

Service Description

We're re-occupying Wall Street! Our second drawing session of the year picks up in Bowling Green, the oldest public park in New York City, which offers a glimpse of the city's earliest days. From there, we'll meander through the car-free paths near Wall Street, includes some touristy (but truly iconic!) landmarks like the Charging Bull and the New York Stock Exchange that most locals never find time to visit. This is a great opportunity to sketch a historic side of the city while spring is in peak bloom. Who: Everyone is welcome What: A group on-location drawing session When: Saturday, May 09, 2026 from 2:30 - 5:00 PM Where: Bowling Green Park Remember to pack: + A sketchbook! + Some drawing utensils. If this is your first time, I recommend keeping it simple. + Some basics so you can stay comfortable outside: extra layers, sunscreen, hat, folding chair, lunch, etc.
