Kevin Zych is a live event sketch artist, content creator, and educator living in Brooklyn, New York.
His on-location drawings and process videos have helped brands like Apple, Verizon, Valentino, The Met, and Montblanc stand out as creative champions in the digital era.
Kevin also regularly teaches in-person and online urban sketching classes for artists of all skill levels.
At the heart of this craft is a love for the passions that bring people together.
All of the drawings on this website were made live and on location–an approach balanced by Kevin's background as a Zen monastic and his current life in a city that's always on the move.
By combining action scenes, rapid sketches, and storytelling through social media, Kevin seeks to amplify share reportage illustration–the use of drawing as a form of reporting–to new audiences.
In events both big and small, this approach shifts toward guest portraits, fashion illustrations, and live demos that help major brands earn a lasting connection with their fans.
