Crayon Club Meetup: The Seaport

Service Description

New York is full of great, big subjects to draw, but one of the best has to be The Wavertree! This massive 1885 cargo ship is stationed in the historic Seaport district along with tugboats, ferries, and nautical-themed subjects. We'll meet right outside The Wavertree at 2:30 PM and complete two 1-hour drawing sessions followed by short show-and-tell moments so everyone can see each other's work. Who: Everyone is welcome What: A group on-location drawing session When: Saturday, May 23, 2026 from 2:30 - 5:00 PM Where: The Wavertree Tall Ship in the Seaport District of Manhattan Remember to pack: + A sketchbook! + Some drawing utensils. If this is your first time, we recommend keeping it simple. + Some basics so you can stay comfortable outside: extra layers, sunscreen, hat, folding chair, lunch, etc.

Paid, in-person classes are non-refundable, however, we can help you reschedule to a better time if you can’t make it. Crayon Club Sessions are free, unstructured meetups. We kindly ask you sign up so we can anticipate attendance and share updates.
