About the Class

Quick, get your sketchbook! The cherry trees are in bloom. To kick off our first meetup of 2025, we'll visit a lesser-known but tranquil corner of Central Park: The Conservatory Water. As a backup plan, we'll walk to The Met (about 5m away) in case of rain. What: An informal urban sketching session bookended by show-and-tell conversations When: Saturday, April 12 from 2:30 - 5:30 PM Where: We'll meet at the Model Sailboat Rental booth on the East side of the pond. Who: Everyone is welcome, regardless of skill level. Feel free to bring friends. How to prepare: Please RSVP so we can send you updates in case of poor weather. Bring your own drawing materials and a sketchbook. We also recommend packing a lunch, water, and extra warm layer so you can work comfortably.
