A 90-minute, beginner-friendly session on the basics

  • From 25 US dollars
  • Grand Central Station - Main atrium, under the clock

Service Description

There are a few key steps anyone can take to start drawing what they see in original and compelling ways, and, in this class, we're going to dive right into them! This 90-minute session takes place in the iconic atrium of Grand Central Terminal, a lively and inspiring atmosphere. Materials will be provided so you can simply come as you are, however, you're also welcome and encouraged to bring your own sketchbook and pen. For this introduction, nothing fancier is necessary :) Drawing is all about seeing. To make the most of our time, I'll push you to try exercises that might seem a little unfamiliar or counterintuitive at the moment but will prove useful in the end. As always, results depend on participation, but I'm happy to say everyone who's taken the class so far has walked away with confidence and enthusiasm about their new craft. When: December 17, 2022, at 12:00 PM Noon Where: Grand Central Station, under the clock in the main atrium Limited to 10 guests, so please order soon! Please note we'll be standing in and walking around a public space for the entire session, so save food and coffee for later. There are public bathrooms in the food court one level beneath where we'll meet.
