Intro to Urban Sketching

A beginner-friendly class held on Saturdays at Grand Central Terminal.

60 US dollars
Grand Central Station - Main Hall Clock

Service Description

Most people think drawing is a rare talent that only a few gifted individuals can enjoy, but that's simply not true! As you will learn, drawing is about seeing, and we only need a few observational techniques to begin making original sketches from scratch. From there, all of life becomes art, and we can illustrate each moment in unique and compelling ways. This 90-minute session takes place in the iconic halls of Grand Central Terminal, which is easily accessible by train and close to other major landmarks like Times Square and the New York Public Library. Materials (sketchbooks and pens) are available for you to use during class so you can simply come as you are. By the end, you'll understand the method behind the magic of drawing and feel confident drawing anything, anywhere. When: Saturdays at 12:00 PM Noon Where: Grand Central Terminal under the clock Private group sessions are available throughout the week upon request. Please email kevin@kevinzych.com to learn more.
