About the Class

The Wavertree is a tall cargo ship docked in the Seaport area near the Manhattan Bridge, and for on-location artists, it's an excellent teacher. Here are the details: What: An informal urban sketching session bookended by show-and-tell conversations When: Saturday, September 28 from 2:30 - 5:00 PM Where: We'll meet at the entrance to The Wavertree in the Seaport District Who: Everyone is welcome, regardless of skill level. How to prepare: Please register so we can stay in touch and so we can update you on changes due to weather. Bring your drawing materials, water, snacks, sunscreen, a small chair, whatever you need, etc. If you're looking for an introductory lesson, check out Intro to Urban Sketching, which takes place at noon on the same day in Grand Central Terminal. We'll see you there.
