Sketch Session: New York Public Library
Sketch Session: New York Public Library
Free, informal drawing meetups in NYC
About the Class
There are few more inspiring places in the city than the New York Public Library and Bryant Park. To kick off our event series, let's meet between the two lion statues and make our way around (and possibly inside) the iconic building. What: An informal urban sketching session bookended by show-and-tell conversations When: Saturday, September 14 from 2:30 - 5:00 PM Where: We'll meet between the two lion statues in the front of the New York Public Library building. Who: Everyone is welcome, regardless of skill level. How to prepare: Please register so we can stay in touch and so we can update you on changes due to weather. Bring your drawing materials, water, snacks, sunscreen, a small chair, whatever you need, etc. If you're looking for an introductory lesson, check out Intro to Urban Sketching, which takes place at noon on the same day in Grand Central Terminal. We'll see you there.
Cancellation Policy
Sketch Sessions are free, informal events for artists of all skill levels. Please bring your own materials. After you register, I will add you to a mailing list for monthly updates about future events, classes, tutorials, etc.
