Saturday, July 26 from 12:00 – 3:00 PM

The Boardwalk outside the entrance to Deno's Wonder Wheel Amusement Park

About the Class

What: An informal urban sketching session bookended by show-and-tell conversations When: Saturday, July 28 from 12:00 - 3:00 PM Where: We'll meet on the boardwalk in front of Deno's Wonder Wheel Amusement Park. Who: Everyone is welcome, regardless of skill level. Feel free to bring friends. How to prepare: Simply RSVP so we can send you updates in case of poor weather. Bring your own drawing materials and sketchbook. Drawing is a often full-day activity, so pack a lunch, sunscreen, water, etc. so can work comfortably. If you're looking for more instruction, we have two options available: First, Intro to Urban Sketching is a 90-minute in-person beginner class taught at Grand Central Terminal. Second, Zero to Sixty Sketchbook School is a complete bootcamp for drawing on location with confidence. Classes are held online with live lessons, 1-1 instructor feedback, and a private Slack channel. The next cohort starts starts July 22. We'll see you there!

Cancellation Policy

Classes are non-refundable, however, we can help you reschedule to a better time if you can’t make it. Sketchbook Sessions are free, unstructured meetups. We only ask people register out of courtesy so we can communicate updates.
