Vanderbilt Gate entrance to the Conservatory Garden

About the Class

What: An informal urban sketching session bookended by show-and-tell conversations When: Saturday, July 19 from 2:30 - 5:00 PM Where: We'll meet at the Vanderbilt Gate entrance to the Conservatory Garden. Who: Everyone is welcome, regardless of skill level. Feel free to bring friends. How to prepare: Simply RSVP so we can send you updates in case of poor weather. Bring your own drawing materials and sketchbook. If you're looking for more instruction, we have two options available: First, Intro to Urban Sketching takes place at noon on the same day in Grand Central Terminal. This $60 class runs for 90 mins and covers everything you need to start, even if you're a beginner. Second, Zero to Sixty Sketchbook School is a complete bootcamp-style course covering in-depth methods and strategies for urban sketching. Our next cohort starts on July 22. We'll see you there!

Cancellation Policy

Classes are non-refundable, however, we can help you reschedule to a better time if you can’t make it. Sketchbook Sessions are free, unstructured meetups. We only ask people register out of courtesy so we can communicate updates.
