NYC's landmark jazz fest, illustrated.

As an artist, there's nothing more thrilling than recording headline NYC events through live sketches, but this is especially true with concerts.

Shortly before the pandemic began, I had the opportunity to see one of the best shows at the New York City Winter Jazz Festival. The images below were my way of capturing the experience and sharing it with others in a new way.

The artists here include Poppy Ajudha, Ashley Henry, and other amazing individuals who are shaping the genre today.

In addition to illustrations, my work is about combining video and animation to document different aspects of the experience. If you'd like to see more content, please follow me on YouTube and TikTok.
